These are thin, delicate almond cookies.
½ cup packed brown sugar
¾ cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
7 tablespoons butter
1 cup blanched, chopped almonds
Preheat oven to 375F.
Grease a baking sheet.
Combine all the ingredients until firm.
Shape into marble-sized balls and place on baking sheet at least 3 inches apart, cookies will spread.
Flatten cookies with a fork.
Bake until golden brown.
Remove from baking sheet to a piece of wax paper.
