¾ cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup butter or margarine, softened
½ cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chopped cranberries
½ cup chopped walnuts
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons margarine, melted
1 teaspoon orange zest
2 to 3 tablespoons orange juice
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine sugar, brown sugar, margarine, sour cream, vanilla and eggs; blend well.
Add flour, baking soda and baking powder.
Gently stir in cranberries and nuts. Do not overmix.
Drop by spoonful 2" apart on cookie sheets.
Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool, then frost with icing.
Icing: In a small mixing bowl blend icing ingredients and spread over cooled cookies.
