Pisang Goreng

These are banana fritters.

2-3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
6 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 ripe bananas
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
vegetable oil for deep frying

Combine cinnamon and sugar; set aside.
Lightly beat eggs.
Mix in the flour and water.
Mash bananas with fork and mix thoroughly with flour/egg mixture.
Heat oil.
Drop spoonfuls of the banana mixture in the oil until golden brown.
Drain on absorbent paper and dust with cinnamon-sugar.
