Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/4 cup butter
1-1/8 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt
1 egg
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon milk

Preheat oven to 350F.
Lightly grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
Cream butter, sugars, and vanilla.
Beat in the eggs and milk.
Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
Once well blended, fold in chocolate chips.
Roll dough into 1" balls and place on cookie sheet about 2" apart.
Bake 10-11 minutes or until browned.
Let cool on cookie sheet 1 minute then transfer cookies to wire racks to cool completely.
