German Chocolate Cookies

2 eggs 
1 cup brown sugar 
2 bars German chocolate, grated
zest from 1/2 lemon
1-1/3 cups almonds, blanched and chopped 
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup flour 
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder 

Preheat oven to 350F.
Grease a cookie sheet.
Beat eggs until light and fluffy.
Gradually add sugar.
Add chocolate and zest.
Add remaining ingredients.
Drop by the spoonful onto cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Cook until done.
