Red Velvet Cookies

1 box Duncan Hines Red Velvet Cake Mix 
2 eggs 
1/3 cup oil 
frosting
8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
2 teaspoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups powdered sugar 

Preheat oven to 375F.
Lightly grease cookie sheet.
Combine cake mix, eggs and oil.
Roll into walnut-sized balls and place on cookie sheet.
Flatten balls to desired thickness.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until the tops crackle.
Cool.
Make frosting by beating cream cheese, margarine, milk and vanilla until smooth. 
Gradually beat in powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, until smooth and spreadable.
Frost cookies, refrigerate remaining frosting.
Frosts one 13 9-inch cake generously, or fills and frosts one 8- or 9-inch two-layer cake. Refrigerate any remaining frosting.
