This recipe is one that I use really often. type: drop makes: 7 dozen 1 cup margarine, softened 1 cup vegetable oil 1 cup granulated sugar 1 cup powdered sugar 2 eggs, room temperature 5 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon cream of tartar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix the margarine, oil, and sugars until smooth. Add eggs and beat well. Mix in the dry ingredients and mix well. Drop by the teaspoon on to ungreased cookie sheets. Press with a fork. The day the cookies arrived, I received almost immediately happy messages from everyone.
