Toffee Malted Cookies

type: drop 
makes:  6 dozen

2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
3.5 oz. box vanilla instant pudding mix
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup malted milk balls, chopped
3/4 cup English toffee bits or almond brickle chips
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine flour, oats, baking soda. and salt.  Set aside. 
Cream butter and sugars. 
Beat in eggs. 
Add in pudding mix and vanilla. 
Stir in dry ingredients. 
Fold in crushed malted milk balls and toffee bits (dough will be stiff). 
Drop by the spoonful onto ungreased baking sheets 2 inches apart. 
Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. 
Cool 2 minutes on pan, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
