Toffee Blondies

1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped pecans
1/2 cup toffee chips

Preheat oven to 350F.
Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt, set aside.
Beat butter with both sugars in bowl until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Beat in vanilla.
A flour mixture.
Fold in 1/4 cup pecans and toffee chips.
Pour into pan.
Sprinkle with remaining chopped pecans. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on rack.
Cut in to squares.
