1/3 cup butter or margarine 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 4 ounces white chocolate, chopped 1/2 cup chopped nuts Preheat oven to 350F. Line a 9-inch square pan with foil and then grease. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in white chocolate and nuts. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan. Cut into squares. |
