Welcome to TheCookieTin.com,

This site was developed after researching various international foods. My original goal was to create authentic cultural meals for my home. While researching I would come across a cookie recipe and just "stash" it in a box.

Well to my surprise I ended up with just over 150 ethnic cookie recipes. I didn't want to keep this collection to myself-so here it is. Every now and then I venture back to find another treasure. I have also received wonderful recipes from visitors now there are over 200.

Although I have not personally tried each recipe, when I do try them I add my review. Visitors may also leave their reviews and tidbits. The cookies are organized by country of origins (or popularity).

For some fun I added the Cookie Game section with sliding puzzles, a word search and an interactive stories, based on cookies of course.

I hope you enjoy this site and bake a few dozen cookies - the ultimate comfort food.
