Ghraybeh
This is a rich orange butter cookie. Orange blossom water is
often found in the liqueur department by the mixes.

makes: 2 dozen
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup semolina
1 cup butter, cold
2/3 cup powdered sugar
1 oz. whiskey
3/4 teaspoon orange blossom water
1 egg
1/2 cup chopped pistachios
Preheat oven to 350F.
Sift together flour and semolina; set aside.
Cream butter until fluffy.
Cream in powdered sugar, whiskey, and orange blossom water.
Beat in egg.
Gradually add the flour.
Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
With about 1 tablespoon of dough form little circles or S's and
place on ungreased cookie sheet about 2" apart.
Sprinkle nuts in top of cookies.
Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Transfer to wire racks to cool.
