Hill Cookies

makes: 1-1/2 dozen
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 egg white
dash of salt
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon white wine vinegar
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Preheat oven
to 350F.
Lightly grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
Melt chocolate, set aside to cool.
Beat egg whites until foamy.
Add salt.
Gradually add sugar, and beat until stiff peaks form.
Fold in vanilla and vinegar.
Fold in cooled melted chocolate and nuts.
Drop by the spoonful on to cookie sheets about 2"
apart.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Transfer to wire racks to cool.
