Pecan cookies

type: formed
makes: 2-1/2 dozen

1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons ground pecans
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350F.
Lightly grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.
Gradually add flour and ground pecans.
Roll dough into walnut size balls.
Roll balls in chopped pecans
Bake 9-11 minutes or until lightly browned.
Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar and place on wire racks to cool.

I loved this recipe because it's a pecan ball that it crushes and it melts in your mouth and it is good for a dessert after a dinner at your home. You should try it!
