Squashed Frogs

1/2 cup margarine
40 large marshmallows
5 cups cornflakes cereal
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons green food coloring
plain chocolate candy, M & M's

Melt margarine over low heat.
Add marshmallows, stirring constantly until melted and mixture is syrupy.
Remove from heat.
Mix in vanilla and food color.
Add cereal and mix until well coated and bright green.
Drop by the spoonful onto wax paper.
Let harden.
