Fruitcake Cookies 2

"Another of our Christmas favorites."

1/2 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
4 eggs
3 tablespoons milk
2 cup flour (additional: 1 cup later over the fruit and nuts)
1 teaspoon each cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon
3 teaspoons soda
1-1/2 lb. chopped pecans (can use part coconut)
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
1 box raisins or half raisins and dates

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and milk.
Sift and mix together flour, spices and soda.
Mix pecans, coconut, cherries, pineapple, raisins and dates.
Sift 1 cup flour over fruit and nuts.
Drop by the teaspoon on greased baking sheets.
Bake 250F slowly for 25-30 minutes.
