This is a Mexican-Jewish-American recipe.
1/2 cup margarine
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
2-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup mixed nuts
Preheat oven to 350F.
Greast a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Melt butter and margarine.
Meanwhile, cream brown sugar and eggs.
Stir in melted butter and margarine.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt and stir into sugar mixture.
Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
Pour into pan and bake 45 to 50 minutes.
